Rabbi Deborah Reichmann serves as the Rabbi and Spiritual Advisor to the Interfaith Families Project (IFFP), a community dedicated to honoring and celebrating both Jewish and Christian traditions. She specializes in working with Jewish, interfaith, multicultural, and same-sex families to create inclusive rituals and life-cycle events that are deeply meaningful and welcoming to all.

Ordained in 2012 by the Jewish Spiritual Leaders Institute, Rabbi Debbie was trained as a Jewish Universalist. Her rabbinic formation integrates teachings from across the Jewish spectrum—including Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, and Humanist movements. By blending these diverse perspectives, she offers a modern Jewish worldview that remains rooted in tradition while embracing 21st-century sensibilities.

In addition to her rabbinic studies, Rabbi Reichmann holds an extensive and diverse academic background. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1997 with a joint degree in Law and a Master of Public Health, and spent a decade working in the health policy arena before deciding to pursue rabbinic studies. In August 2016, she received a Master of Liberal Arts from Georgetown University, her graduate work focused exploring the nature of religious places on the internet.

As the granddaughter of four Holocaust survivors, Rabbi Debbie is committed to preserving the stories of her family. She currently shares the history of her paternal grandfather, Ernst Reichmann, who was originally from Berlin and survived incarceration in the Sachsenhausen concentration camp before emigrating to Chile.She hopes to eventually document and share the stories of all four grandparents through her work with the community.
