3 Generations, 3 Authors

3GDC's First Intergenerational Author's Panel

On February 23, 2020, three generations of authors -- survivor Edith Cord, Finding Edith; second-generation and photographer Max Hirschfeld, Sweet Noise: Love in Wartime; and third- generation granddaughter and journalist Felice Cohen, What Papa Told Me--shared their precious and unique stories at Adas Israel synagogue. The panel was moderated by Dr. Aleisa Fishman, historian and founding staff member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The audience of 2Gs and 3Gs was brought to laughter and tears, and asked how to publish the stories of their own parents and grandparents. Enjoy some action shots below.
